This poem was written by Lewis Carroll, an English writer. In this poem he talks about a little crocodile. It lives in Africa's longest river Nile. The crocodile improves its look by pouring the Nile river water on its body. The water makes the crocodile scale to look golden under the shine of the sun. It makes the crocodile happy and it welcomes fishes with smiling jaws.
